Honda Center is THE place to be in OC this Saturday, August 28th! The first ever OC Foodie Fest, featuring fifty of the best local gourmet food trucks, is taking over the Anaheim lot from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. This outdoor fest is for hardcore foodies, families, and music lovers alike; a wide variety of entertainment and activities are scheduled for the one-day event, including dance crew performances and DJ’s, shopping booths (featuring Patchwork Indie Arts & Crafts Festival artists), and a kids entertainment area hosted by Pretend City Children’s Museum. Not only is OC Foodie Fest showcasing the tastiest mobile eats in the Orange County, but it is also featuring the top local musicians and bands. Headlining the fest is the 2010 OC Music Awards winner for Best Live Band, Best Rock, and Best Country/Americana, Dusty Rhodes and The River Band (set to play at 4:50 PM). Also included in the day’s stellar lineup of musical acts is the OC Music Awards winner for Best Indie Band, The New Limb (3:50 PM), as well as Seedless (3:00 PM), Denny White (2:10 PM), Honeypie (1:20 PM), and The Relative Strangers (12:30 PM)! Sponsored by The OC Register, Taco Dawg, and OCFoodies.com, the event benefits local charities, such as Pretend City Children’s Museum, Child S.H.A.R.E., and Cart for a Cause.
